Pélagie Gbaguidi

Pélagie Gbaguidi is a Beninese artist who lives and works in Brussels. She is most well-known for her series of paintings and drawings titled “le Code noir” which evokes the violence of the slave trade and its effected trauma on the following generations of Western African cultures.
